Emotional Regulation

Being able to regulate your emotions can be really helpful in reacting less impulsively, strengthening relationships, reducing anxiety, feeling less stressed and more in control. Below are a few resources that can be useful if you're struggling with emotional dysregulation.

Mindfulness Toolkit

Short, practical exercises designed specifically to help you feel grounded and present.

5-4-3-2-1 grounding technique;

5: things you can see

4: things you can touch around you

3: things you can hear around you?

2: things you can smell around you? ( i know it’s a weird one to focus on  but, it will help!)

1: thing you can taste e.g favourite chocolate, gum, sweet, fruit

Yoga

Yoga is a fantastic space to combine both your physical and emotional needs. Be present, listen to your body and explore your strength.
